THE ARTIST
TaylorMade Sweetz is a home-based bakery located in Virginia. It is owned and operated by self-taught cake artist Alexis Taylor.
Alexis is a single mother who desired to make her sons first birthday cake.
She began her journey into the cake world in June 2012 knowing very little about the industry.
Since then she’s made thousands of cakes, taught cakes classes and provided cakes for those less fortunate through a program she started “No Child Without a Cake”.
Alexis plans to open her own store front bakery in the near future.
